About the Book
The 2nd edition is redesigned to meet the academic requirements of the subject Bioseparation and Downstream Processing for the students of Bioscience and Biotechnology. The main objective of this edition is to provide a overview of the whole aspects of downstream processing for biochemical product recovery and the various methods used in purification of biological compounds. This edition is compiled into five chapters that cover general steps used in downstream processing or bioseparation, primary separation, product isolation, product purification and product polishing. Each chapter is presented in a concise and lucid manner, including kinetics and step wise procedure.
About the Author
Anuj Kumar Rana is working as an Assistant Professor in Department of Biotechnology, IMS Engineering College, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, which is very renowned Engineering College of North India. He has an experience of five years in teaching. He is enrolled as PhD Scholar (Biotechnology) in Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand (India). He has written several research papers at national & international level. He has guided more than ten projects at graduation level.
