The important areas covered through the new entries are technological, interpretive, conventional, evolutionary, innovative, gender, and crime sociology. About the Editors

A.P. Thakur is a dynamic scholar and teacher of sociology of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Faizabad. A keen researcher and active social activist, Dr. Thakur has presented several research papers in national and international seminars. He is also associated with social awareness and rural employment programmes.

Anjana Banerjee, born in Calcutta and educated in Patna, is a young scholar and teacher of Sociology. As a keen researcher, she has written a number of research papers and articles which have been published in reputed journals and newspapers. She takes active role in academic and cultural activities.
