The eighth chapter examines environmental management and gender health while last chapter gives conclusion of this study. About Authors

 Dr. Ankita Arya did her M.Sc. in Anthropology from Allahabad Agriculture Institute Allahabad (U.P.) and PhD (Anthropology) from University Of Delhi, Delhi. She has attended various national and international conferences, seminars and workshops. She has been involved in many research programmes in various capacities and has published many research papers in reputed journal. At present she is Assistant Professor, Department of Anthropology and Tribal Development, Guru Ghasidas University, Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh).

Dr. Anup Kumar Kapoor is a Cultural biologist-cum-health ecologist of national and international repute. He has spent over three decades in conducting extensive research in bio-social anthropology among various tribes, caste and ethnic population groups of various states of India, Nepal, North America and United Kingdom. He had been recipient of several scholarships and research grants from various organizations. He held various academic, administrative and professional positions from time to time. He has published in addition to his 14 book/edited volumes, more than 190 research papers and articles in national and international journals. He has attended more than seventy five national and international seminars, workshops and symposiums. He has been awarded RUCHI AWARD (1991), UGC RESEARCH AWARD (1999). LIFE TIME EDUCATION ACHIEVEMENT AWARD (2006), VIDYA RATAN AWARD (2008) and MAN OF THE YEAR AWARD (2009). He has been visiting fellow to number of universities in India and abroad. He has travelled to North America, European and South Asian countries for academic activities. He is consultant to many national and international NGOs. He has presided over various national and international academic, cultural and sports functions. He has been the Vice-Chancellor, Jiwaji University, and Gwalior (MP) during 2007-2009. At present he is Professor, Department of Anthropology, University of Delhi, Delhi.
