About the Book

Temple management is not a new subject; however this is first time ever that a systematic book is written on that subject. Temples as infrastructure of Hindus and its management is vital for the community. They should therefore set benchmarks for temple activity, rituals and administration with a view to aim at a reasonable TSoR (the Temple Social Responsibility) and TSpR (Temple Spiritual Responsibility.) HSIM (Hindu Sanskriti Information Management), Interfaith Protocols and ToTD (the Tragedy of Triple Distillation) on account of inaccurate translations are subjects that Hindus need to take up seriously. With the better-informed gen-next, it is no more possible to carry on temple activity without any accountability. It is time the temple managers think seriously and provide responsible management to their temples. The title of this edition makes the objective and content of this volume obvious; however a few clarifications and ideas that led to its creation would prove useful to the reader.

About the Author

Nilesh Madhusudan Shukla, born 1951, is qualified as electronics engineer. He began his career in Mumbai with Bhabha Atomic Research Center, moved to various national and international companies in India and abroad. Ancient Indian Sanskriti is admired by many but what separates the author from the rest is his insight and conviction that they are still ‘underselling’ it; there is a lot more of good into what is already so great in Hinduism. To his credit is a path breaking book “The Bhagavad Gita and Hinduism, What Everyone Should Know” published in 2010. Author is well travelled to almost all parts of India and to about 50 countries world over.  He has handled many senior management positions, the last being as HRD consultant for a multinational construction company. Since early years, he is dedicated to exploring Rishi-Sanskriti, the wisdom of ancient India.
