About the Book

Financial Management entails planning for the future of a person or a business enterprise to ensure a positive cash flow. It includes the administration and maintenance of financial assets. This book has been designed to discuss the fundamental concepts and principles of financial management with aims to fulfill the requirements of the students of undergraduate and graduate courses in commerce and management, particularly B.Com. and MBA of different Indian Universities.

About the Author

Prof. R.C. Mishra is a Professor and Director, Institute of Professional Studies and Development Research (IPSDR), Kumaun University, Nainital. He has 30 years of teaching and research and specialized himself in finance, taxation and business economics. He has credit to publish 12 research papers in reputed national and international journals and one book. He attended and organized many confrences and Seminars and delivered keynote addresses in many Seminars. Presently he is working on a research project funded by UGC, handled many administrative assignments of the University, a resource person in the training programs of teachers conducted by UGC.

 Dr. R.S. Pandey, hold M.Com and D. Phil Degree from HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar-Garhwal (Uttarakhand). Dr. Pandey is an alumnus of the University. He is in the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies of HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar-Garhwal (Uttarakhand). He taught commerce to UG and PG classes for over the two decades. His areas of interest are Financial Services and Markets, Banking & Finance, Entrepreneurship Development and New innovations in commerce and business. He has more than 10 research articles to his credit published at the national level. He has produced 7 D. Phil. Scholars and attended many National Seminars/Conferences. He is a member of several academic and professional  bodies in the field of commerce and business management. Recently he has participated in Jammu University, Jammu under Academic Exchange Programme (AEP) for Academic Exchange.
