About the Book
In this edition, author has made serious efforts in developing new methodology of sex education. It is widely recognised that children are entitled to sexual enlightenment, but it cannot be said that this belief is widely put into practice. The child’s desire for knowledge about his birth is a perfectly natural, honest, and harmless desire, so long as it is not perverted by being thwarted. A child of four years old may ask questions relating to this matter, simply and spontaneously. As soon as the questions are put, they should be answered in the same, simple and spontaneous spirit, truthfully, but of course keeping the child’s intelligence, capacity, and desire for knowledge in view. The present edition is a serious effort to examine and analyse the socio-cultural as well as psycho-biological aspects of sex. The wide-ranging ramifications of sex on the physical, psychological and, of course, the cultural evolution and development of the human-being have also been thoroughly discussed in this volume.
