About the Book
This book is a highly flexible training tool that can be adapted to a wide variety of learning environments. While most training and development programmes follow a rigid step-by-step approach, this book has been customized to fit a wide variety of training needs. Its use is simple, but creative drawings and metaphors invite learner’s participation and involvement. The entire book si devided in three parts viz. Interpersonal Skills. At the mid of the chapter, an illustrations is given, tourching major points discussed int eh chapter in a planned manner and at the end of each chapter, success stories have been provided throughout the book for a better appreciation of typical management concepts. The presents books is a sincere attempt to expose managerial concepts, principles and theories in a simple and logical style, with a touch of originality to expression.
About the Authors
Dr. Rajul Bhardwaj is a lecturer in Management with Faculty of Management Studies, Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalya, Haridwar, where he teaches and conducts research in Human Resource, Marketing and General Management. He has contributed research papers to various National and International Journals. He is a multidisciplinary academician with degrees in Computers, Mathematics, Management and Retailing. After working as H. R. Professional in two reputed Multinational companies for four years, he turned to academia. He had taught in Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar as Co-ordinator of MBA (Hons.) and served Roorkee Institute of Management and Science as Director. Dr. Bhardwaj is a visiting professor to ICFAI Business School, Sri Guru Ram Rai college and Academy of Management Studies, Dehradun.
He is a well-known teacher in area of Marketing and H.R.M. and his area of research is Competency Management. He has already published his one book on “Role Models in Management” with Global vision publishing House, Newdelhi. His current area of interest is finding innovative research methods to conduct different types of researches.
Dr. Pankaj Madan is a multidisciplinary academician with degrees in Production Engineering, Management and Web Technology. He is a Practicing Professor and Corporate Trainer of international repute and is presently Director, COER School of Management, College of Engineering, Rookee. In the past, Dr. Madan worked for a long time at Faculty of Management Studies, Gurukul Kangri University, Haridwar at various positions and before turning to academia he had worked with two reputed Engineering Companies. He has also taught at University of Southern Queensland in Dubai as an Asst. Professor and as a Visiting Professor at Shaoxing University, China and CENTRUM Catolica, the Business Centre of the Pontifician Universidad Catolica del Peru. Dr. Madan is a consultant registered with Quality Council of India and imparts corporate trainings and consultancy on Quality Management and Career Planning. He has already authored 6 books and conducted more than 500 workshops and trainings and also contributed research papers to many national and international journals. He is associated with 15 universities nationally and internationally for various academic purposes and has professional links with many corporate bodies.
