About the Book
The Brahma Sutra, attributed to Sage Badarayana (often identified with Vyasa), is a foundational text of Vedanta philosophy, systematically presenting the teachings of the Upanishads. It is divided into four chapters (Adhyayas), each with four sections (Padas), containing aphorisms (sutras) that address the nature of Brahman (ultimate reality), the individual self, the world, and the path to liberation. By establishing the Samanvaya of Brahman, the Brahma Sutras lay the foundation for understanding the rest of the text and for embarking on the spiritual journey towards self-realization.
