About the Book

The book entitled Corporate Governance and Social Responsibility, primarily deals with the conceptual dimensions of corporate governance and corporate social responsibility. The notion of governance and social responsibility has become one of the critical determinants of development in the corporate world. This book is the most comprehensive work in the field of Corporate Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility. It is hoped that it would generate wider public debate and at the same time, invite constructive suggestion on the issue. The authors are fully convinced and confident that this book would be indispensable for policy-makers, academicians, graduates and post-graduates students as well as the ordinary readers having keen interest in the functioning of Corporate World. About the Authors

Dr P. V. Khatri is M.Com., MBA, LL.B. and Ph.D   from University of Delhi. His areas of interest include Law, Marketing and HRM. Having authored eight books, he has published number of research paper in various journals. He has been a Professor and Director of Delhi College of Advance Studies, affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi. He is on the Editorial Board of various journals. Besides being an Associate Professor, in Deptt. of Commerce, Swami Shraddhanand College, University of Delhi, he is also a visiting Professor in Indian Law Institute and different Business Schools.

Dr. J. S. Kadyan has also been awarded Ph.D from the Department of Commerce, Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak, Haryana. His areas of research interest include Accounting & Finance; Corporate Governance, Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility; OB & HRM and Stress Management. He has conducted faculty development programme, presented papers in the national & international seminars & conferences, edited journal, authored books & also contributed research papers in various journals. He is a Faculty member in Deptt. of Commerce, Swami Shraddhanand College, Alipur, University of Delhi.

Ms. Rashmi is BE (Information Technology) from Delhi College of Engineering, University of Delhi, PGDM from Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, Kerala and Junior Research Fellow, University Grants Commission, New Delhi. Her areas of research interest include Marketing, International Business, Corporate Governance, Ethics & Corporate Social Responsibility; Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management. She is a Faculty member with Department of Management Studies, College of Vocational Studies, University of  Delhi.
