This encyclopaedia is mainly compiled for undergraduate and graduate students, but it will also useful for researchers and teachers of Physics and its allied subjects.
About the Authors
S.K. Basu, professionally a chief marine engineer obtained his Bachelor and Master degree from Taratola Marine Engineering College, Kolkata and M.Sc. (Physics) from Calcutta University. He is having about twenty years of experience in conducting training courses for working professionals in various areas of engineering and technology. He is associated with various technological institutions which provide training courses for working professionals in the industry in all branches of engineering. He has authored many articles in reputed professional journals and presented research papers in international seminars. His first publish work is Hand Book of Oceanography.
R.P. Singh has done M. Sc. and Ph.D in Physics from Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur. He worked as Research Scientist of biophysics in IIT Roorkee. He worked as an assistant professor of Biotechnology in IP Engineering College Ghaziabad. Later he shifted to IMS College, Dehradun. He has presented several research papers in national seminars and symposiums.
