About the Book

The present edition of Global Encyclopaedia of Education is compilation of more than two hundred key concepts of education which present complete and coherent understanding of educational enterprises as a whole. To that extent it is an encyclopaedia of contemporary educational discourse. Its four volumes contain 225 entries contributed by 200 leading experts, and cover words, ideas and issues of prime importance. In this edition, editors have incorporated all suggestions and advices of the readers and rectified other errors. Entries from programmed learning, behavioural objectives, and multiculturalism have clear relevance to practitioners as well as researchers and theoreticians. This Encyclopaedia will also help studies to formulate a clear conception of the nature of educational system and educational theory and research. Each entry is followed by complete bibliography for advance research.

About the Authors

Rama Sankar Yadav has emerged as an eminent scholar with deep insight in the field of education. He has a rich experience in teaching and research. He has participated in many national conferences and seminars and presented his lucid research papers. Presently he is teaching in private B.Ed. College which is affiliated under B.N. Mandal University, Madhepura.

B.N. Mandal, a young and dynamic scholar, has been a pioneering leader in many research projects. He is a member of various national and international associations. He has travelled widely for academic purposes. At present, he is post doctoral fellow of education in B.N. Mandal University, Madhepura.
