About the Author

Rita Raj is an Associate Professor in the English Department at George Mason University. She completed her elementary and secondary education in Delhi. Then after, she joined her mother who is working as an advisor to company planning in USA. Her research work was based on modern technological interactions with education. She started building web- based  learning environment in 1996. Earlier articles include cultural studies in the classroom, computer-generated graphics, and organisational dynamics. She devoted the earlier part of her career to producing and directing documentaries on defence education and training.

Jaspreet Singh is a noted scholar of Indo-Chinese’s Maritime Security Strategic Thought & Geopolitics. He has done M.A. in Defence and Strategic Studies and Ph.D. from Punjab University. Dr. Singh has published three research papers in National and International Journals. Presently, he teaches Undergraduate level in PG College in Chandigarh. This encyclopaedia is revised by him on publisher’s request.
