About the Editors

Dr. SandhyaOjha is Reader in the Department of Psychology, S.A.K.A.P.G. College, Varanasi (V.B.S. Purvanchal University). She has a teaching and research carrier of more than 25 years. She has been the investigator of a  UGC project entitled “Social Support as a Moderator in Social Anxiety and Well-Being of Handicapped Students”. Her main areas of research are Clinical Psychology and Disability. She is founder member of Pahel Rehabilitation and Counseling Centre. She has contributed numerous research papers in various National and International Journals of repute.

Dr. Urmila Rani Srivastava is Senior Lecturer in the Department of Psychology, Banaras Hindu University Varanasi. Earlier she has been a CSIR Research Associate in the Department of Psychology at BHU. She has a teaching and research experience of more than 20 years. She has contributed book chapter in progress in Asian Social Psychology; Theoretical and Empirical contributions ed. by Sugiman, M. Karaswa, J.H. Lin & C. Ward (1999; K K Sa publishing). She has worked and published in the areas of occupational stress and health. Presently she is doing research in the areas of four fold texononomy of work-family interface and psycho-empowerment at work place.

Dr. Shobhna Joshi is Senior Lecturer in the Department of Psychology, Banaras Hindu University Varanasi. She has a teaching and research career of fifteen years. Earlier she has been a UGC fellow in the Department of Psychology, BHU. She has been the co-investigator of a major UGC project entitled “A study of some psychological barriers to educational development of Kharwar children of the Naugarh region’’. She has been actively associated with Hemophilic Society of India, Varanasi Chapter.  She has extensively worked and published in the areas of Sports Psychology and Developmental Psychology. Currently she is engaged in research on Psychology of education of adolescents and religiosity.
