About the Book

This book aims to cover undergraduate and graduate level multimedia course but could also be used in more advanced courses and would be a good reference for anyone, including those in industry, interested in current multimedia technologies. It examines a good deal of the core agenda computer science sees as belonging to this subject area. Multimedia has become associated with a certain set of issues in computer science and engineering, and we address those here. We assume that the reader will be comfortable in learning concepts, methods and tools used in this book. This book will be useful for those students who go on to jobs in a multimedia-related industry immediately after their senior year, and sometimes before.

About the Author

Neetu Sharma, M.Sc. (Mathematics), MCA, working as an Assistant Professor in MCA Department at ABES Engineering College, Ghaziabad (U.P) and has experience of 6 years. She has got the Director’s Award from ABES Engg. College for Research Oriented Faculty 2011-12 and also got the Director’s Award for Improving Teaching Performance 2011-12. Her various papers have been published in reputed research journals & international conferences.

Monika Kansal, MCA, M.Phil,  working as an Assistant Professor in MCA Department at ITS College, Ghaziabad. She is having seven years experience in teaching. Her various papers have been published in reputed research journals & international conferences.

Rajesh Kumar Maurya, MCA, M.Tech (Computer Science and Engg.) is working as a Senior Assistant Professor in MCA Department at ABES Engineering College, Ghaziabad (U.P) and has teaching experience of 12 years. His various papers have been published in reputed research journals on topics like “Enhancing teaching learning system using multimedia Tools”, “Important Aspects of Software Testing in SDLC” and the likes. He has attended and presented papers in several national and international conferences and seminars on Mobile computing and Multimedia System.
