About the Book
The book on ‘Insectivorous plants’ will not only provide a detailed overview of the known species and their behaviors but also can inspire researchers or molecular biologists to work on these plants for uncovering its wonder and complexity with a greater appreciation. From evolutionary point of view- the study of insectivorous plants is a compelling narrative of survival, adaptation, and an enduring struggle for life. It reminds us that the line between plant and animal, often drawn so rigidly, can blur in the face of evolutionary necessity, revealing a natural world far more dynamic and surprising than we often imagine. It is my sincere hope that this book will serve both the seasoned botanist and the curious beginner, providing a gateway into a world of botanical predators that are as beautiful as they are deadly.
